Namibia, Botwswana, South Africa Kalahari hunts?
I am looking for an outfitter that books in the Kalahari. Someoene other than Kalahari Hunting Safaris in Aroab Namibia. I won't hunt them again.

What are you wanting to hunt. The Damaraland desert is very well worth visiting. One operator there has a concession that streches for 9 million acres, it is incredible. I can highly recommend this place.

9 million acres

Who is that? As far as my knowlege goes, the biggest area in Damaraland is just over 1 million acres.

D99, we offer hunts in the Kalahari as well, on 15 000 to 65 000 acres. If you are interested, I can give you some AR members that have hunted the following there with us:
problem lion
leopard
kudu
gemsbok
springbok
giraffe
duiker
hartebeest
steenbok
eland
We also do some cull hunts there.

My wife and I went with Janneman Brand of Getaway Kalahari Safari last May and we are booked again for next summer (2010). The Brands are wonderful people that run a first class operation. Here is my trip report.

Kathi
timot,

Is that Didimala Safaris, Keith Wright? I met Keith and his wife at the S.C.I. Convention and they seem like great people.

Correct Kathi,
I have hunted with them 3 times and some fantastic animals were shot. But it is being in an area that is so vast that it takes 2 days to drive across and seeing an incredible amount of animals inmcluding desert Rhino, Elephant and leopard. It is one of the wildest places in Africa.
