LorenzoSaeed: "IGNORE" topic button??
I don't know if it is a good idea but if you give us the possibility of ignoring the posts of a given member, it's possible to allow us to also ignore the topics started by a given member??
You are not banning anyone, you are just giving us (the people) the possibility and we are free of chosing which members we want to read.
If someone wants to read everything about a given member ok, but if someone don't want to read NOTHING (topics titles inclusive) also it's ok. It's a personal option.
Maybe it is difficult or expensive to do it but if not it will be a good thing.
Thanks

Wise1Agreed.
An excellent idea but I'm not sure if current software would allow. I appreciate every day the expense incurred to run this site so if it's not possible I'll continue to mentally ignore topics.

Mike375Perhaps I am reading your post the wrong way.
Are you saying that you are requesting a software change which will prevent you from opening another members threads? In short, you need to be protected from yourself!!!
Absolutely amazing!!

GeorgeSLorenzo,
The software does not have that feature. Your best bet is to avoid threads started by those on your ignore list. Don't even rubberneck (viewing them to see WTF is being said in response).
I realize that some idiots try to take over a forum by posting 20 new threads, but it's up to the more rational members to ignore them and let them roll off.

LorenzoMike, was just an idea after reading people complaining and some others saying goodbye. As I said, maybe is not a good idea or maybe is too expensive, I don't know, I was just asking Saeed. Nothing more. It's just like the "ignore button" but much more powerfull

Be happy

In addition...The new forum update post started by Carmelo has 400 views. How many of those are from people who have him

Wise1Mike,
I think what Lorenzo was proposing was an "Ignore Topic" feature. So that when someone whom you are ignoring creates a topic you would see this-
***You Are Ignoring This User***
Also, If you'll notice where Lorenzo is from, you might be able to guess that his Spanish is probably stronger than his English. Ergo, some interpretation on your part may be required. Even if just to keep up foreign relations.
Relax.

LorenzoThanks Wise1 !!
You got my idea, it's a pity to realize that my english is not as good as I think

To be honest, I don't understand much Mike's answer and neither the other one about 400 hits....
Also was just an idea, and keep in mind that good ideas are not one of my qualities

Thanks

MarteriusConcidering the number of people that have stated that they ignore the troll, the fact that his tread is viewed 400 time might indicate that he is constantly reading it himself, being amazed by his own wit and intelligence!

Wise1Lorenzo,
Por supuesto. Creo que su ingles es muy bien. Es mas mejor de mi Espanol.
Tambien, su idea es un buen idea.

Rick KoehlerLorenzo, your English might be a little broken and not always crystal clear, but your posts have more worth than the ones written by some of the native English speakers on my "Ignore" list.
Also, might I add, that if I were to try posting in Spanish, well, let's just say that I'm sure my Spanish is much worse than your English. (I can't speak Spanish, well, maybe two or three words.) English is a very difficult language, and I admire those of you on this board that have taken the time and effort to learn it. I feel like I should be dusting off my Spanish book and practicing some verbs now.

That's about the level of his disruption too. I was surprised I had him on the ropes and ignoring me after only a few posts.
What he lacks in talent he tries to make up bouncing back with quantity for you guys.Unfortunately he fails a little there too.
A paralell might be a young man with limited sexual experience trying to impress a girl.
And has a small penis to boot.
