Thanks for Texas!
To Saeed, Moderators, or, whoever put up the Memorial day header on this forum:

Thanks for showing respect to the fallen and their families that have given so much for this Nation - I should also add that this goes for any country's fallen that have been on the side of goodness and decency for humankind!

Cheers, Saeed. Well done and many thanks!

On the plains of hesitation lie the bleached bones of ten thousand, who on the dawn of victory lay down their weary heads resting, and there resting, died.

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch...
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!
- Rudyard Kipling

Let me add my thanks to my friend Saeed and all the others who make this site possible. It's a humbling thing to come here and see the banner changed in such a way. It's very moving.

Thanks so much.

God Bless American servicemen everywhere.

I grew up in Owensboro, Kentucky, nextdoor to the brother of a Viet Nam Era MIA Hero.

From Kentucky, in solemn remembrance of a noble native son, shot down over SE Asia and never accounted for:

Col. Charles E. Shelton
USAF 29 Apr 65 Laos

That is what the inscription on this bracelet I am wearing says.
RIP
