MacD37DANGEROUS SAFARI II
Well Folks, the doctor scored a 50" Buffalo with one shot! No follow-up surgery necessary! My wife, and kids, breathed for the first time in three weeks, so outside some recovery, they say I'll be fine, as it was localized, and had not matastisized.
I'm bandaged up like a mummy, and at home, and it will be a while before I can handle a big bore double, but you guys didn't get rid of me completely.
I want to thank all you guys for all the kind words, on the forum.
Now you have to put up with me some more!
Again Thanks for verbal flowers!

JudgeGThe best words in cancer surgery are "good margins"! That's a 60" buffalo for your surgery! And a 100 # elephant, etc. and an MGM lion....

vapodogWhile you're recuperating, please don't strain yourself by thinking about a new .470 double, or equivalent.

McCrayCongratulations on the great news!
I think you need to book a hunt back to Africa. You can tell your wife it'll help your recovery.
Honest.
Really.
It's worth a shot?
Joe.
