Will- I have received your book. Thank you very much. I have only read the first chapter so far-very enlightening. Was particularly impressed with the explanation of the Penetration Index and how well the .416 performs.

I returned from a week at the mines to find your opus in the pile of mail retrieved by my personal assistant. I got #61 of the first edition. I have perused it briefly, looks great, and it is next on the reading schedule.

Quite a fine job Bill Stewart, from cover to cover. A one-sitting read for me is indeed a rarity. With so many bits of well phrased and poignant commentary, I gave up on noting them for this review!

I received the book on Thursday then left for DSC Friday morning. I read the book while waiting in the airport and on my flights. I really enjoyed it, especially the elephant chapters, it answered a lot of questions I had about elephant hunting.

Will- I too finished the book while commuting to Dallas. I really enjoyed it. The elephant skull pics were very helpful for locating the brain.
