David B577 Tyrannosaur
I have been contemplating buying an A-Square Hannibal rifle chambered in the 577 Tyrannosaur. Does anyone know the projected cost and length of time for manufacturing. Thanks.

470FANI just received mine a few days ago. I ordered and sent the deposit back in April. The cost is $4,335.00. I got A Fancy walnut, $275 extra, steel express sights, $275 extra and there is a $475 extra charge for the larger caliber. But the wait was from April 21 to November 17 ship date.

ROSCOE470FAN,
What is your opinion of the rifle? I am curious if any changes have been made since the company changed hands.

We're going to be "gifted" with a health care plan we are forced to purchase and fined if we don't, Which purportedly covers at least ten million more people, without adding a single new doctor, but provides for 16,000 new IRS agents, written by a committee whose chairman says he doesn't understand it, passed by a Congress that didn't read it but exempted themselves from it, and signed by a President, with funding administered by a treasury chief who didn't pay his taxes, for which we'll be taxed for four years before any benefits take effect, by a government which has already bankrupted Social Security and Medicare, all to be overseen by a surgeon general who is obese, and financed by a country that's broke!!!!! 'What the hell could possibly go wrong?'

470FANIt is a very nice rifle. I have a 338 A-Square which I purchased right from Art Alphin at a SCI convention some years ago. The biggest difference I see in the two rifles is the 577 bolt has been converted from cock on close to cock on open. Other than that they are pretty much the same.

470CapstickA2My Hannibal in 470 capstick... go figure.... is a circa '94-95 model with lots of use, and still functions excellent. I've been searching for a 500 or 577, used for a while... they just don't show up...
Get one and enjoy it... it would make a great xmas gift for next year.. : )
