A scientist and a forestry employee were among those mauled during the near 10-hour long effort to corner the dangerous animal on Sunday.
The leopard, which strolled into the Vibgyor International school, was eventually tranquillised and released.
A recent wildlife census estimated that India has a leopard population of between 12,000 and 14,000.
The eight-year-old male was spotted strolling inside the school premises in the Kundalahalli area.
Footage on the school's security cameras showed it attacking a man near a swimming pool.

BaxterBThe few times my boy tabby has been an ass he has been a handful. I can't imagine what damage a full sized lepoard can inflict. Really an impressive animal.

NakihunterThat is the city I lived in before moving to NZ!
There is a National Park on the outskirts and now new residential suburbs ave sprung up all along its boundaries.
The school where this happened is bordering a small "green belt" area with a possible old stream bed.
Sanjay Ghandi National park in Bombay has a lot of leopards that have taken small children in the last 10 years. Dogs have been taken from inside a house / apartment!
I saw a program by Romulus Whittaker about the Urban Leopards of South India!
