Can I book it at this price for 2009? lol

Good luck filling this; it looks like a great deal!

Wouldn't it be a wonderful world if we could? Big Grin

I found some old brouchures the other day and could not believe how inexpensive Buffalo hunts used to be.

Wendell,

I think the Jackal is way to expensive, thats what is holding me back at the moment.

Maybe also the fact that I will be in RSA for another hunt at the same time can slow me down a bit. Big Grin

Otherwise it sounds like a very good deal.

Wendell,
I looked at my paycheck stubs from a few years and cannot believe how poor I was either. I was selling myself way to cheap.....

Wish I could go right now...

Wendell, I know from experience that these are BIG bodied bulls, what does Vaughan figure the realistic trophy expectations to be? Same deal with the Air Namibia flight considering the change of days (somebody had posted prev that they are not flying every day anymore?).

Dang tempting!

These are excellent dates. 50lb is a good starting point. No real desire to shoot something less than 50 lbs.

Good point on the Air Namibia. You would fly in on a Monday. If you finished by the next Monday, you could take that flight back out. If not, a charter at about $1200 or so one way. (+/-).

So if you were able to fly to and from Caprivi, the commercial cost is $650

If you took a Commercial for one leg ($325) and a Charter for the other leg ($1200) your cost would be $1525 (+/-). Thanks for pointing that out.

If you left early, you can spend the balance of the days hunting plainsgame on ranches around Windhoek.

Having hunted elephant in the Salambala with Vaughan last year, I can say without hesitation that this is a GREAT opportunity.

If only I could do it on such short notice, I surely would.

I hope someone can jump on it.
