cjwMy login was lost in the transition also. This is the 3rd time I've had to register.
I'm in for 3 tickets (or 1 @ $100).
I also think the winner should be able to choose their own observer

YES,
BUT
At 600 tickets I would have bought the 3 for $100.
BUT at $100each I will buy 2 tickets, cutting my odds to where I will still lose, but with odds where I can feel much better about giving up the $200.00

If I paid $200 for 6 tickets out of 600, there would still be 594 tickets that AREN'T mine.
If I pay $200 for 2 tickets out of 200, then there are only 198 tickets that aren't mine.
it just .... "sounds" better.

Widowmaker416I wasn't a member when you had the last hunt. I joined in July.
Rob1SG said that this site had trouble selling all the tickets last time, I can't believe that "hunters" won't chance a losey 1 hundred bucks to take, and I might add, take a "VERY GOOD" chance of winning a ****$21,000.00***** Buffalo Saafari!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
What are you all nuts!!!! A 1 in 210 chance, that's if you only buy one!!! I plan to buy a few. believe me, I've spent alot more money then that on "Dumb" things!!!
So all you so called "Big game Hunters" get out your wallets and pledge your ticket purchase on this excellent site.....
With the amount of members on this site we should sell out in no time!!!!
Let's go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SnakeLoverI'll take at least 1 of the $100 tickets, perhaps a second if the stock market goes up a bit further...
09 January 2005, 01:42
patrkyhntrI will commit to purchasing two tickets for myself, and promise to write a story about it and post it here if I win. Further, I would like to purchase two tickets for my son-in-law if I am permitted to do so, and would accompany him if he wins and write a story about his hunt which I promise to post it here if he wins. Is that good enough?
If some feel that this is greedy on my part, don't get excited. I never win anything.

BloodnativSo where does this thing stand? I'll probably only be able to do one if they go to $100 a piece. Won't be able to get more than that past the wife.
10 January 2005, 09:15
ElCaballeroI would still like 1 at $100.

11 January 2005, 07:13
SnakeLoverBob - looks like there are only about 25-30 tickets requested at $100 reviewing the posts from 1/6/05 forward. Not very promising at this point..

BloodnativIMO I think it woulod be much better to leave it at $35 each than to raise it to $100 each. I know at least in my own situation it is much easier to get $35 at a time than to get $100 extra from a paycheck after bills and expenses. I know that if you buy 3 @ $35 it actually comes out to more than $100 but it's easier to get an extra $35 than an extra $100. I would actuall be able to buy more than the 3 if they are $35 if I can just buy 1 or 2 at a time until we get enough sold.
