Hi All,
Please feel free to add some of your scenic photos. I've taken many as I am sure all of you have. Let's share them for us poor northerners who rarely see the sun or moon this time of year!
I took the above photo in the Limpopo Valley a couple of years ago. I had the privelige of using CJW's very professional photo equipment while we enjoyed some sundowners into the moon lit night. This was so awesome, thought the photo is great, being there was WAY better!

Into my heart on air that kills
From yon far country blows:
What are those blue remembered hills,
What spires, what farms are those?
That is the land of lost content,
I see it shining plain,
The happy highways where I went
And cannot come again.

Your elephant picture is spectacular.
How did you get that effect in the baobab shot?

cjwJohn, someone showed me how to do this. I was using a 16-35mm lens and using a real slow shutterspeed, probably 15, you zoom the lens while the shutter is open. Pretty cool effect!

Hi Jim! I'd guess about halfway between Swainson's Massau Camp (Dande) and the "Big Five" camp, where we go tigerfishing.

JBoutfishnThis young elephant charged our truck, comming within 20 feet as it had been raining and traction was non-existant. We saw the elephant the next day giving a small band of wildebeast a bad way to go.

Use Enough GunHey how about an annual AR photo contest? The prize being. . . Also, wouldn't it be great if some of these photos could be published in something like "Accurate Reloading's 2006 Photo Annual"? Some of them might make great pictures for dens, offices, etc. with the proper framing and matting.
