Aardwolf, Civets and Bushpigs?

Big Wonderful WyomingAardwolf, Civets and Bushpigs?
What is the best reasonable place to take a aardwolf, civet and bushpig?
Trying to plan our 2016 safari and I have a couple things I'd like to do that I didn't do the last time I went.
I am thinking someplace in Limpopo or maybe in the Botswana?

samirI have seen 2 or 3 aardwolf in Namibia, and from what I've been told you can shot one on a collectors permit. The only place I could think they would have Bushpig in Namibia would be in the Caprivi area but not sure.

Use Enough GunYou might want to check with Charl at Infinito. One of his specialties is bush pig. A civet shouldn't be that difficult to also find. I thought that aardwolf were protected in South Africa, but I'm not certain. Not sure of anything in Bots. Charl put together a bucket list hunt for me a couple of years ago and we had a great time. You might see if he can do the same for what you're looking for.

Sir, I can get you all three in South Africa, and two of them on my own land. Vaughn is correct in stating that I specialise in Bushpigs. Where others try, we simply do not fail when it comes to them.
A Civet is also sort of a done deal.
Aardwolf is more specialised and requires a special permit. We do see them from time to time though.
I have a whole bunch of animals that are weird and interesting to hunt, that people do not think off, and we grouped them all together in this special Bucket List hunt UEG mentioned.
You are welcome to email me for more information at charl@infinito-safaris.com

lavacaAardwolf, I have no idea. But where I hunted in 2013 in Western Tanzania (and going back this year) there were a lot of civits and I never saw so many bushpig -- during the day. Send me a PM if you are interested.

lavacaBiebs,
From what I can remember, it's pretty much the same thing.

graybirdI saw an aardwolf last year in The Eastern Cape one afternoon while looking for waterbuck. It was a pretty special day!
You can also check with Andrew Renton with Kei River Safaris. I took a very large bushpig with him in June 2014.

Bill CollectorSeen lots of Civet and some Aardwolf in Limpopo at night a few years back. I think the best bet for Bushpig is in the EC.

Brian ClarkWas down in the Port Alfred area in the cape last year and saw a few Aardwolfs and plenty of Bushpigs down there, they use Hounds for Caracals so I'm sure they Get Civets as well.

BenKKOne of the many wonderful experiences of my safari last year was sneaking up to a mob of giraffe with Jason at Kanana in Botswana, and suddenly this little face appeared out of a burrow almost under our feet. For a few moments it stared at us in surprise, and then it fled like a streak of lightning. It was an aardwolf.

I think we can help you with your quest.
Maybe add an Oribi to the mix if you have not taken one yet?
You may also choose to take your Bushpig over Bait or over hounds
Looking forward to hearing from you

GatogordoI guess I just don't understand why anyone would want to kill an aardwolf, but that's just me.

When considering US based operations of guides/outfitters, check and see if they are NRA members. If not, why support someone who doesn't support us? Consider spending your money elsewhere.
NEVER, EVER book a hunt with BLAIR WORLDWIDE HUNTING or JEFF BLAIR.
I have come to understand that in hunting, the goal is not the goal but the process.

Big Wonderful WyomingWhy would I want to shoot an aardwolf?
They are cute little buggers that's for sure. and they eat ants, so ????
Not going to get philosophical about it, I just think it would be interesting. I have never even seen one in a zoo. Come to think of it, I have never seen one on a wildlife documentary.
They had a few in Namibia, last time I went. But they were protected, and I never saw one.

BiebsYes, I'd recommend Charl at Infinito. If you see his photo, you'd know you have the Bushpig covered at least :-)
