TerryRWhich 7mm-08?
I'm considering Kimber, Ed Brown, and H S Precision. Do you have any experience with these brands?

Hawkeye47TerryR,
I'm considering on of the stainless Kimbers in 7MM WSM.
I think that the Kimber is the best value for the price.
I have visited the H-S Precision factory and examined their rifles and have heard nothing but good things about Ed Brown's products. If price was no object the Ed Brown rifle would be the one to pick. That said any one of the three wouldn't be a bad choice.

KuduKingCan you say, "I'll take the Remington 700 Ti, please"?

TrademarkTexanI have a Kimber 84M in 7-08. It is the finest made rifle you can buy off retail shelf, in my opinion. The custom features are well chronicled, so I won't go into the hear. It does handle and point wonderfully, though. Mine is about a 1.5 moa gun with factory 140 gr Rem Powerpoints (my preferred load for whitetail deer). I think the accuracy could be better if (when) I try other loads.
Two negatives: the action is not "slick" from the factory, and needs to be lapped. This has been so in ALL 84Ms I've picked up in 2003. Also, mine copper fouls pretty badly, but it has only had 35 or so shots through it.
I think the Kimber is about as good as it gets, if you like the calibres it's available in.

Gonzo FreakPowerFor me, 1.5moa is not good enough from a gun like that. And the CZs are a little rough when new, except you pay about $500.
The above isn't very helpful. My advise, get a Browning A-Bolt instead. It's not rough out of the box. My 300WinMag shoots 1/2MOA and better with tons of different handloads.
