MARK H. YOUNGkid,
Try cleaning the area where you are going to stick the form with acetone and then try duct tape. When I lived in Alaska it was reffered to as "100 mile 'n hour tape" indicating that it will hold up to sever winds and almost anyting else. I never go hunting anywhere without a roll.
Good luck
Mark

Tim FerrallNalPak sells plastic ID plates that stick on to an area of their cases. I have them on two of mine, both of which have survived several TSA encounters. My suggestion would be to call NalPak and ask them what sort of 2-sided tape they use.

NavalukOn my trip in March, I used a clear fed ex bag (the kind you stick to a box and your shipping papers go in). Then I circled the pack with duct tape on the top of the plastic bag and on the bottom. Tape all the way around. Worked fine. If I had to do it again I would use strapping tape which has the strings of fiber in it and which is much tougher than duct/100mph tape.

Aaron NeilsonGuys - Just FYI, Kathi was kind enough to just send me the exact rules, as I too leave tomorrow for TZ via Amsterdam.
It stated very clearly that one DOES NOT have to put any permit/paperwork on the outside of your gun case, just FYI.
By the way, Kathi has done a great job with our trip itinerary - thank you.
Thanks for the input...my wife figured out to just fold the permit up in one of the ID tags that everyone has on their luggage, my gun case now has 2 ID tags, one with name etc, one with Dutch permit folded up inside it...better safe than sorry with it on the outside, thnksagain kd
