I recieved an e-mail from my outfitter in Zim the other day reguarding a hunt I have booked for next Sept.. He informs me of a new govt conservation levy of $20 pppd for hunters starting in 2013. Anyone else out there know anything about this? I don't recall reading about this on this site but I may have missed it as I have been busy the last few months. Hopefully these moneys will actually go directly to conservation/anti poaching etc and not to "general revenue"!! It is Zim however.

Guys!

Just to clarify. This is a levy on the SAVE hunts ONLY and does go direct to antipoaching etc. There will be an official document out on this soon and I will post it.

Thanks Mark, I had e-mailed my outfitter for clarification but have not got a reply yet, I'm sure I will. If that is the case I have no problem with it. I was concerned that it was possibly a "tax grab".
