ManyatheloBushbuck in East Cape of South Africa - Best Area/s?
Which areas are considered the best for a good hunt in the East Cape. Decent size property, good numbers of bushbuck and good trophy quality.
Having hunted bushbuck in Zambia, Zimbabwe, along the Limpopo and in the Natal Midlands and "traditional" East Cape bushbuck is on my bucket list. Not looking for a driven hunt though. Would like to hunt a property with a high density of bushbuck and low hunting pressure
Thanks in advance for any information or feedback

7MMNutA friend of mine just got back from hunting with Beans at Tootabi Valley Safaris. Large property, low fence. He killed a very nice bushbuck.

Speak to Ferdi Fenter (fvh40 here on AR). He operates in the JBay /Humansdorp vicinity and has Cape Bushbuck available in good numbers - seen it for myself and will be hunting there for one next year. You can pm me for his email address.
Marius Goosen (KMG Hunting Safaris) is also pulling some good ones from his area(s) and has a good reputation.

Beans Dupeez is a good guy and will work his butt off for you. If he tells you he can find you a good one, he will.

K EvansI've shot several at Blaauwkrantz, about 50 miles from Port Elizabeth. They have over 90,000 acres with plenty of bushbuck. Lots of kudu, too, nice people and nice lodge.

Use Enough GunCharl van Rooyen and I hunted a nice area when I did my bucket list with him. It was low fence, free range bushbuck, and not far from where I shot my blue duiker. We saw quite a few bushbuck and did a great stalk quite a ways off of the main road on mine.

Contact Charl. I love the Eastern Cape Bushbuck and their dark chocolate color!
