PAGuardianOptifade...legal in Namibia?
I'll be spending some time hunting in Namibia in a few months and begun to think about packing. I own several pieces of sitka clothing in the optifade camo patterns and was hoping to take them along. However, it is illegal to wear military camo in Namibia. Since optifade is a more non-traditional hunting camo (a hybrid of military and hunting camo IMO) am I going to run into problems?

FishN4EyesI wore my Optifade on my hunting trip there two years ago with no problems.
I definitely wouldn't wear camo clothing on the plane or in any of the towns or while driving.
You should be fine if you wear it only in your hunting area.

MARK H. YOUNGPAGuardian,
Your fine as long as FishN4Eyes said you don't wear the stuff anywhere except in the field.

Texas Blue DevilI have worn Optifade camo on 3 different hunts to Namibia. I never had any problems. I went into the near by towns with my PH decked out in Optifade. No one seemed to care.
