I received today from my friend Sam Pancotto a dvd compiled from all his 16mm elephant hunting film , "The Ivory Trail, Evolution of an Elephant Hunter". The old film is of a time long gone of 100 pound bulls falling to Sam and Rose's rifles. There is no sound,only narration.

Sam's Professional Hunter in East Africa was Peter Mann-Jones. Has anyone hunted or know anything about him? From the dvd, he seems to have been one of the top Professional Hunters of that time, but I have never heard of him before Sam's films.
