Good to see John hunting again -- "Tracks Across Africa". Same enthusiasm and continuing great work ethic. Very happy and thanks to Dave Fulson et al. for the episode in Dande (with Charlton Mccallum Safaris).

not sure where you have been but John has been hunting since 2011 after recovery. I wrote a piece a while ago about this episode. Not wanting to appear negative but when you said hunting again, John never quit. I did many safaris with him before and 3 after.

I saw him on video stop a hippo charge with a client at 6 yards about 15 years ago.

After the leopard incident he had to learn to shoot left handed.

My first PH way back in 1994. We had a blast and I've always considered him a friend and excellent bush companion! One of the good guys.

He has his full license now and hunts with Raul as well as he builds all the camps for him in TZ.
