KevConley precision cartridge, has anyone use them
HI,
I saw a web site about Conley precision cartridge and I was wondering are they good, and has anyone used them in Africa. They are not cheap and have fairly high fps, I think there 350 grains are going 2700fps. They do use the best bullets around and would like to hear how they work over in Africa. Kev

North_GA_AiredalesKev,
I have only used Conley for two lots of 45/70 ammo for my Marlin 1895. A 300JHP at 2200fps and a 405JFP at 1900fps.
So far all is well. They match their advertised velocity, have no pressure signs, are very accurate in my rifle, and were produced quickly.
The 45/70 will not go to Africa. But they do list quite a bit of Africa suitable ammo.
I will use them again for 35 whelen and 375h&h

PalmerI have used Conley for .458 WM loads - primarily Barnes X and solids. The loads shot consistent groups and their delivery time was as promised. I will use them again.
