I received a call today and it seems that hunters passing through RSA with guns will have to fill out part of the new form and or check guns or some such bs. Does anyone have at least a guess on what will be required? I am just trying to get to Windhoek!

If you're just transitting through a south African airport, you won't need an in-transit permit at all as the requirement has been postponed. If you're entering RSA with your firearms at all you will need to comply with the new laws.

That was how I understood it till the call this morning. The info came by way of a ph from RSA that says there has been a new change, even transitting hunters had to fill out part of the form.

4.July 2004 they also change the form from SAP311 to SAP520.
