I learned today that Louie went into hospital last Tues 2/24 and has ben diagnosed with Prostate cancer. It appears it has spread outside the prostate and he is currently undergoing test to find how far the cancer has progressed. He has had back problems for the last two or thre years that I have stayed with them. We can all pray that the cancer has not been growing that long undetected.

I'm not sure who Louie is???? However, He will be in my prayers, none the less! Here's hopeing it hasn't spread too far, so that it can't be cured with treatment. Frowner

Into my heart on air that kills
From yon far country blows:
What are those blue remembered hills,
What spires, what farms are those?
That is the land of lost content,
I see it shining plain,
The happy highways where I went
And cannot come again.

I stayed there in july of 2005. Louie is one of a kind. We complemented him on a CD that he had burned and played while driving us around. He popped it out of the player and gave it too us. I'll keep him in my prayers.

Stayed there in July 2006. Louie was always a great host, looked after all the sportmen and sportswomen who stayed there, and assisted with the SA gun--520SAP fiasco. Hope he makes a full recovery!!

Tried twice to get an e-mail to go through to that address and failed both times.Any advice?

We seldom get to choose
But I've seen them go both ways
And I would rather go out in a blaze of glory
Than to slowly rot away!

Although I do not know this gentleman, my heart goes out to him! If the disease has spread outside the capsule, his condition is very serious. All of the best to him and his family.

Louie is truly one of the classiest people I have ever met. He was always there for anyone with a problem and saved my wife and I from spending a night in the Joburg airport at 10:45 pm at night. Our thoughts are with him and Annelise his lovely wife.
I have reached him at
aftongh@netactive.co.za
or www.aftonguesthouse.com

He is a real fighter and a true gentleman.
If anyone can fight it with valor it is Louie.
