That's great news. I hunted with Koos and Peter last Sept. Hope Koos is still with you, had a great time with him. Is your Tanzania area the same 2 you had originally?

Yessir! Koos is def. still working for me in Tanzania and busy getting camp ready. We are still in Southern Tanzania correct.

Pieter is now one of our permanent PH's in Uganda.

Yes, with the 325 WSM at 420 yards standing up on the shooting sticks. No-dial-up-the-distance scope on that hunt. We did have range-finding binos to give us the distance, however, to the opening that we thought that he was coming through to cross between thick brush on either side. After the shot you initially told me that I had missed, because you saw the dirt fly up behind him. And then the Vaalie went down 20 yards later. A perfect heart shot. Just one of many, many memorable hunts of a once in a lifetime bucket list 9+ animal hunt with my lifetime friend Charl.
