I hunted there twice in the mid 90's. Does anyone know what happened to it after the land invasions?

Thanks.

I agree.

We shot a lot of animals there. My oldest son, who was 12 at the time, shot a buff. Neither one of us will ever forget that.

I remember seeing a kudu that had an extremely unusual horn. Extraordinarily deep curls on one side. The ususual had to be easily over 70 inches. I wanted that freak of nature badly.

I wonder what it is like now.

Larry:

I hunted`there with Simon in 94. Took a grand old buffalo and a lot of plains game as well. I visited with Simon at the DSC and I believe he told me the blacks got the place and killed everything off. I even remember seeing wild dogs there one day. It was in the process of being fenced when we were there but it wasn't completed till after we left. I think Con Van Vyke had it for a time. I hunted with Mike Fynn, a wonderful PH for a first time African hunter & his wife.

I hunted there on my first trip to Africa in September of 2002. I took a nice buffalo and a 41" sable. At that time half the property had already been seized by war veterans who were tearing down all the wire fences. It really wasn't a private game ranch anymore as it opened up to the bush on three sides. There were snares all over the place with one room back at the camp jammed full. We came across one dead eland with a snare and I saw a nice big blue eland run right in front of me while dragging a snare. I knew it wouldn't last long and it didn't. Tragic.
