Are there any import requirements or special regulations concerning hunting in South Africa with a crossbow?

ChrisTroskieThere are no import requirements for bringing in bows and crosbows. You may want to check that hunting with a crosbow is allowed in the province you are hunting though.

The provinces vary about permitting crossbow hunting, most I have dealt with are very reluctant to issue a permit.
