Frank Sanders a very good friend of mine bow hunted in Mozambique for Cape buffalo, Sable, Crocodile, Bush buck, Reed buck in 02. Great place for a true wilderness hunt. Not a pampered 4-5 star hunt. If you want I will email you the outfitter he hunted with.

I hunted Mozambique on the Zambezi in 2002. I am familiar with this part of Moz, but there is a whole lot of country there. Lots of Buff in this particular area.

Mozambique is a huge country. It touches South Africa and Tanzania. Not to mention Zambia and Zimbabwe.

Any time you have a country covering that much ground, you are going to have varied conditions. Obviously the hunting will be similar to the countries it borders in those specific areas.

There is a lot of swamp hunting in parts of Mozambiqe, but that only comprises a small portion of the land there.

Saying "I hunted once in Mozambique" is like saying "I hunted once in Texas." Whole lot of varied country in both areas.
