Hi there everyone. I have received the new discs for the 2006 Safari and have had the pleaseur of spending time watching what I think is the best one yet. Action and Antics, very creative footage as well as the excitement of an up close and personal stopping shot. 14 paces. You will have to see it to learn more.

I am making sets and also have several volunteers ready to create new copies to get as many different lists going as possible. That way more people have a chance to see it sooner.

I am going to start the first list with names of individuals that lost out of the last pair of sets from the 2005 list. Yes Mark that does include you as well. I know I keep saying that but you have been very patient and I do thank you.

I am going to request that each individual take responsiblity for the care and distribution of these discs. You will need to be responsible for tracking progress ( I will show you how easy it is) sending mailing info and confirming receipt and shipping. Everyone is counting on everyone else to make this work.

I will start the first set and when I receive confirmation that all mailing info is sent and received I will mail the first set of discs. It will then be the responsibility of everyone on the list to follow-up on the whereabouts. I won't be able to do so because I will be preparing and mailing the next set of discs for the next 25 individuals.

This plan will work if everyone works the plan.

What do you guys consider a reasonable amount of time for each of us to keep and watch the DVD's?

Under most circumstances I would hope 3 days is enough to watch them and post them out. If 5 days are needed that is OK too as long as a post is made regarding receipt and when the expected shipping is.
We all have other things that get in the way but with this many people waiting to watch I would hope that everyone does their best to move them along.

The DVDs were mailed to hou1jwj (Jeff) today via first class mail. The postmistress said he should recieve them in three days. The quality of Saeed's videos keep getting better. It reminded me a lot of my hunt in the Selous this year, thanks for the opportunity to see them.

I received the DVD's late Saturday afternoon. I should have them copied and sent out to BIG SAM by Tuesday. I will post again to confirm.
