What is the average cost to mount a cape buffalo head? I'm just trying to figure out how much cash i need after i win the free trip!

The taxidermist I am working with here in the States charges $975 for a shoulder mount which I think includes tanning, although I've seen price lists quoting $1200-$1600. Skull mounts of course are cheaper. Full mount...$6400 and up, plus habitat.

For a rough estimate I would say $800-$1200 if mounted in Africa, $1200-$1600 in US.
