Hey Judge. Does this mean you won't be buying back the different rifles you sold me? LOL
Really a nice looking rifle. It also sounds like you are going all out to "Trick it UP".
You won't be afraid to take it out and shhot it will you?
Give it a good cristening in Africa.

So Ernest, based on your post of changes, methinks I will get the standard 458 Lott gun and get Jim Brockman to surface grind the action, install his Talley bases with pop up peep sight, clean up the action then reblue.. Maybe I will restock it myself...but inasmuch as installing the barrel band swivel itself will require a reblue, may as well go ahead and get all the metal done at once...

The other option for me is glass, install cross bolts, forget the swivels (take them out) and just use it as is.....I don't mind the set triggers, just don't use the set, and the thumb safty is an excellent safty on a strictly DGR...I'll have to give that some thought..

BTW I just bought a 20" carbine Brno 21 rifle in 7x57...A rare gun and in decent shape, but some changes have been made that puts it in the shooter catagory..You would like this one.
