Has anyone any information on the Selous Blocks U1 and U2?
These areas are run by www.africanbushcompany.com
and the area is situated in the hart of the reserve so one would think Poaching would be at a minimum and game numbers would be high in this wild section of Tanzania.

Not saying that that they are bad blocks, but I wouldn’t judge any area by its location!

Not bad blocks, bit heavily forested but has produced some decent elephant, buff and cats.
Poaching is infrequent compared to the 2 adjacent blocks.

Selous U1 + U2 are good for Elephant + Leopard. PG + Buffalo density are below average compare to other Selous blocks.
