AcerI'm somewhat mystified by the press this is getting - heard about this on NPR yesterday and today. It is if this had never happened before and shocks the sensibilities of the international community. Maybe there is a media push to spotlight these activities. Not sure if the aim is to curtail poaching - or paint hunters in the same broad brush strokes.

The links to China were emphasized in the reports I saw & heard - and the perpetrators were not referred to as "hunters" - only "poachers" - which is an important distinction that is all too often dismissed by the liberal media.

John Chalmerspacecars,Thanks for the link,i,ll need to learn how to do that.

No matter the country, poachers and the recipients of the poached ivory, horns or meat, should be delt with severely. No excuses.jc
