I hunted elephants on Denstatd property just outside Mapunkubve NP right across Botswana Tule border/Limpopo river
Numbers were crazy and the destructiveness was seen everywhere , besides they were mean
I was told there needed to be about third to be sustainable
Skeleton forest I called it

Another in a long line of game management failures.

IIRC, this sort of foolishness has gone on for decades in some places around the world and my memory of such things only goes back 60 years.
So, I will not comment further.
