Cartridge belts are useful and today need to have the capability for three items (O.K. - O.K., then it's NOT a pure Cartridge Belt anymore!); Cartridges, Flashlight and Knife.

A while back the discussion was about sources for cartridge belts.
I found this great guy in KC who will custom build anything along these lines - number of loops (12 here), caliber (these are .458 Win), waist size (this one is too fat), and I had him add a loop for a mini-mag.
They're heavy duty canvas like fire hose material, and the workmanship is excellent. I just sent him a sketch of what I wanted and a few dummy rounds. All for $ 50.
His name is Tom Ewing in Oberlin, KS if anybody's interested.
