Lion Stinging Safari
Another topic on the forum got me to thinking. I am considering a Lion Stinging Safari. Does one need a permit? Cites perhaps? Can someone recommend a PH who does this sort of thing?
Now for the equipment. What would you recommend? Flashlight.......Push switch (tailcap button version) or Conventional contolled switch mounted on top. Perhaps a remote switch? The remote switch sounds too complicated and problematic.
Now for quick reloads. Would it be better to go battery or rechargable? I'm thinking battery as there may not be an outlet handy for recharging and time may be of the essence. Does anyone make a battery speedloader? Lithium or conventional Eveready?
Would a two cell lithium have enough power or should it be a three cell? I am sure the PH will have a three cell for back up. Does anyone make a double flashlight or would duct taping two together be suficient?
Without going in to brand names I already have one called a "stinger" and also a scorpion (which also stings). I wonder if this is how they got their name? Should I go with what I have? Or since this will certainly be a "once in a lifetime" experience would that be a good reason to buy a new flashlight?
Thank you in advance for any help you can give me in this area.

bulldog563There was an ad about how Craig Boddington managaes to "sting" a lion using his Surefire at night by flashing him in the eyes temporarily blinging him. Supposedly he was carrying meat back at night and the lion was stalking him.
