carmelolisciottoI see these lions almost every day at lunch.
The taxidermy work on them is poor and they have shrunk in stature so dramatically it is hard to imagine them dragging away a bushbuck let alone over a 100 men.
Still I bet they were fearsome in their lifetime.

TNJohnThe hides were so bad that after several years on exhibit the Taxidermy work was redone, losing a foot or so on each lion. The manes became a little thin but lions in that area are said to have thin manes.
