Back to Zambia - Almost
I was offered a great deal to fill in on a 10 day buffalo hunt with my buddy H. Kittle. I accepted and tried to make air travel arrangements. The best I could find was an an outragous $4,200 fare which required a days drive to get to that airport.

Based upon the cost of airfare, I had to decline. So close - yet so far away!

SBT,
I had an old banker friend who used to tell me "Son, it ain't what it costs... its how much it costs a month!" Sometimes I wished I'd listened to him more. Zambia is a great destination but I am preaching to the choir!

On the plains of hesitation lie the bleached bones of ten thousand, who on the dawn of victory lay down their weary heads resting, and there resting, died.

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch...
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!
- Rudyard Kipling

Life grows grim without senseless indulgence.
