T manDSC Convention
I'm not sure what thread to post this under but here we go. This year will be the first time I have a chance to visit the DSC Convention any advice or things I should be sure not to miss.
I didn't go up there to die, I went up there to live.

Safaris Botswana BoundThe DSC convention and its amazing staff are a highlight of the year for most of us from Africa. Its more like a club than a convention a true gathering of friends and sportsman.
Try attend the functions at night they are great and you get to meet a lot of hunter folk.
We are in booth 933 and hope to see you.

Fellows (and Ladies):
I'm bringing my daughter and sweetie this year. You guys can't tell them any stories about me. They think I'm normal.

Charles_HelmI find that people have more time to talk on any day other than Saturday, as Saturady tends to be very busy. Maybe that has changed in the last couple of years, but I prefer to go on Thursday or Friday when things may be a little more relaxed and it is easier to get around. Of course, I would go on Saturday if that was the only time I could make it.
I try to make a list of the booths where I want to talk to people and make sure I hit those in addition to a general walk around to sight see.

tx308Id say just take it all in. If you are looking to book a hunt you can generally get a list of exhibitors off the biggame website. I usually go there to figure out who i want to talk to. I also use that to look at the websites and see what kind of prices etc that the outfitters im interested have.

450/400 Jeffrey'sYou will enjoy the experience. The first day is the most relaxed, so try to get there before the weekend.
