Charging buff painting from G&A big bore special 1998
There was a guns and ammo big bore special magazine in 1998... Could of been 1997 or 1999. In this magazine was a painting of a wounded buff charging... Does anyone know who the painter was or have a copy of the rag somewhere?

I don't know if it is the same painting but I bought one for my father many years ago, my sister now has it. It think it was called "Charging Buffalo", and was one of a series from Remington. Had a buff charging a wild eyed native with the white hunter standing his ground ready to shoot. Quite a dramatic picture.
If this sounds like the one I could get the details for you.

Doesn't sound tHe same. This one is one buff heading straight at you with a spot of red on his right shoulder. He is quite close and snot is flinging out of his nose. The acacia thorn is very discernible.

I had a copy of it for years from a color copier that was enlarged but gave it to a close friend when I moved. Now I want to find it and get a real print.

It is really important for me to find this. It reminds me of myself... I have been wounded but I am coming back with a vengeance. I had a couple near death illnesses and am recovered. Thank God.
