Looking for thoughts on what Maswa is like at the beginning of December. Especially interested in the Buffalo hunting. Who has experience there and what advice can you offer?

I was there in late november in 2014.

I shot a 48" buffalo there.

The Wildebeest migration was ending while I was there off the Serengeti.

I did a hunt report on it back then. That place was almost like shooting in a park. Huge numbers of animals, quite calm.

Minimal herders coming in.

The rains might be an issue then- I think the short rains might be starting then. I would go for it.

I will be there next September. Friends of mine that have hunted it say the same thing that CR said.
