shakariA challenge for our GA members.......
I'm sure this is the longest of long shots,

but can anyone in GA put me in touch with a guy called Russel D Taunton who works (or worked) for the Georgia Dept of Public Safety?. (250 Larry Walker Parkway, Perry GA, 31069).
I found something of his in the middle of the Selous and I'd like to return it to him......

Tex21One man, half a world away, finds something that belongs to another man in Georgia and wants to return it to him.
After a couple hours of looking, the man is found and object stands a decent chance to being returned. How cool is that?
Its a small world ain't it?

shakariThanks Guys,
I'll look forward to hearing from him! His lost property doesn't have any value but I thought he's like to have it back - I'll bet he never thought he's ever see it again!

Not every wife lost in the bush was lost accidently.

dogcatHad the same thing happen to me twice - once I left an important address book on the top of my car - drove off and if fell off on the turnpike. A lady mailed it to me the next day from a city several hundred miles away.
Next time, I left a pocket Bible on the tram at the DFW airport. Guy picked it up and tried to track me down and made contact a month later.
All in all, people in all of the world are good folks, honest, want to do the right thing and enjoy being a good person.

It may be a good idea to put your search on hold at least until Monday. This is a holiday weekend in the states and with him being off today I would suspect that he may be out of pocket for the weekend.
We seldom get to choose
But I've seen them go both ways
And I would rather go out in a blaze of glory
Than to slowly rot away!
