Dr. DucWeaver Grand Slam for DGR?
What is the experience here on the new Weaver Grand Slam scopes on hard recoiling rifles?
I have an old steel tube 2.5X on my 416 Rigby but I've not used any of the newer scopes. I know they are owned by Meade now and the quality is supposed to be good. How about the optics? I only know one guy who has one and he likes it.

akplsI have a GS on a Marlin 1895M (.450 Marlin) that has taken everything that's been thrown at it. The rifle has "eaten" a base and a set of rings, but the scope keeps going without a problem. Tracks just as good as the day I bought it about 7 years ago.
