Tiger shoot in Denmark
This afternoon a Siberian tiger got loose in a Zoo not fare from where I live.
The tiger jumped a 4,8 meter high electrical fence and got loose. The zoo park got evacuated and hunters shoot and killed the tiger.
The police evaluated that darting the tiger was simply to dangerous.
This was due to the fact that the tiger was stressed after being electrocuted from touching the top of the fence.

If you read Danish or like pictures

I do not know what gun they used sorry

Impressive that Falck have "shooters" available, or perhaps they have "consultats" contracted? Andr, you ought to apply for the job! You are sure the only one in your area with a .500 Jeffrey...

I would very much like if they call me the next time.
A free tiger hunt
I would love to post some tiger hunt pictures from Denmark with me posing next to the tiger

I hope that you enjoyed the story Martin. I know that you could read it.

I enjoyed the story, thanks. Send in your CV! But you are a little late for the tiger...
But peraps there are some elephants left in the zoo or some other nice critters?

Martin

You need to send to them your resume. Put lots of photos standing with your foot on tigers, lions and elephants, while holding your .500 (doctored photos of course ).

Tell them you spend X hours per year on safari business (including internet time). They will be suitably impressed and a tiger hunt in a zoo will be yours.

Maybe we could all do a Zoo cull
I know that 450 No 2 would do good and the 375 Mauser would strike like the hammer of Thor

Excellent idea for the next AR meeting A cheap budget cull with all kinds of animals Those who participate will most likely get room and board funded by the tax payers

Andr, every summer I take my daughter to the zoo in Bors. Every time I pass the gates, I wonder what would happen if I had a bigbore rifle over my shoulder...

I've heard of canned lions, and even seen some here advocate hunting them. But caged lions? That's too much.

Let's establish some ground rules.

First, the quarry must have escaped. Like the tiger in question. Then, you must stalk him on foot through city streets and suburban back yards.

Safe gunhandling will be imperative. No "African Carry" will be permitted and you must at all times be sure of your target and what is behind it.

And you only have 21 hours instead of 21 days.

That's the beauty of an city hunt. You always have a nice, safe concrete building in the backround to stop the bullet if it goes thru your tiger!
