More on the Save
After reading the post on the Save Conservancy, I checked with my sources. Here is all they had to say.

"I have it from good authority that the Save land owners were asked to appear at a hearing and then they were introduced to their respective partners mostly army personel!"

Maybe you were being sarcastic...not sure but I don't think that is great news.

You can enlighten us on what you find out when you are back.

if the guys in Zim can do anything they can adapt. I wouldn't get to worked up about this yet, some of those Save landowners are well connected billionares.

Having a Mugabe military personel partner can't be a good thing!

I do worry about it a lot. It is due to the "non-worriers" that Zim has been allowed to go off the deep-end unchecked!!!

LEDVM:

I was being sarcastic. It worries me a lot especially as there seems to be increasing activity of this nature.

I posted a response from a director of a hunting company operating in the SAVE. It is under the heading of "More sad news for Zimbabwe hunting operator."

larryshores,

It was your post that I forwarded to Zim to check on what was happening. It elicited the response that this time, it may be more serious.

Thanks.

I have to admit that I am more than a little nervous about this. I would hate to be there if something started going down.

I haven't told my girlfriend about this. She was going for a week. I bagged it telling her it was way too hot and lots of bugs. She wouldn't be happy. If I took her and something happened, I would be a wreck worrying about her.
