TimberlineDallas Safari Club Show Versus Reno SCI?
I've never attended the Dallas Safari Club Show, but have been to SCI in Reno repeatedly. I do hear good things about DSC.
How would you compare the two shows? Which one's the better of the two, in your opnion

Dallas is less crowded, you will have more time to talk to the exhibitors and its cheaper. Reno is much larger with more exhibitors but more crowded and more spendy. Of course Reno has the night life and the casinos that Dallas does not.

WillOne is not really better than the other. SCI is just a lot bigger (more vendors, operators/outfitters, etc.).

AtkinsonWho knows, I have had a booth at both and from a booking agents standpoints I don't see much difference in sales.. I get clostrophobia at Reno, its just too crowded, too expensive, and too hard to get in and out of, and today I don't do all the shows that I used to do..
I have not had a both in Reno in several years, but I go there to torment Butch Searcy and a few other co-harts, business partners, PHs, and good friends and clients, many of whom haunt the halls of AR and many that ply me with alcohol and good food...A good time is had by all..
Both Dallas and Reno are great shows, as far as shows go.

577NitroExpressNever been to Reno, but have been to DSC - if you are a frequent poster on AR, DSC is a good place to go to meet some of the best folks around.

And if you can get to the Judge's annual birthday party for old-fart-Ray-Atkinson, well, just get the judge liquored up and prepare to laugh your ass off.
