bulldog563Help with ammo amounts?
I am going on a 2x1 10 day safari in TZN at the end of the month. Species on license;
2 Cape Buffalo
1 Grants Gazelle
1 Cokes Hartebeest
1 EA Impala
1 Warthog
2 W.B. Wildebeest
1 Zebra
Guns the two of us will be sharing;
1 500 NE Searcy DR
1 375 H&H M70
1 338 WM Tikka
The DR will be using Woodleighs(570grs). The 375 will be shooting North Fork softs and woodleigh solids(both 300grs) and the 338 will shoot NF softs (225grs). Should I bring a few solids for the 338 just in case?
How much ammo would you take for each gun and what ratio of softs to solids? Since we will be travelling together we are each allowed the standard 10 pounds of ammo (I think). Thanks.

500grains1. 20 rounds for the .500 NE, 10 solids and 10 softs (or just 20 solids)
2. Select only one of the .338 or .375 and take all the other ammo for that rifle. If you take solids for it, just take 5 or 10.

AcerIf my math is right, 9 ought to be enough
