New SCI # 1 Croc'
As promised. The new SCI # 1 Nile Crocodile. Taken in the Lake Chamo Concession last month.
18 foot 7 inches.

The picture will probably turn out small but maybe some of you computer wizzes will help me out.

This is the link to the larger picture, in case it does not show up above:

Link to picture on Imagestation.

Edited: I got it to work once, but Imagestation has blocked it each time since then.

I swiped it off Imagestation and put it on my host. Does this work?

Rich -- I will delete it from my host if you like.

500 gr's,

Yes, in Lake Chamo in the Rift Valley.
That's close to Arba Minch and about halveway between Addis Ababa and our Omo Valley camp.

Damn, that gives new meaning to the words "prehistoric monster"!

On the plains of hesitation lie the bleached bones of ten thousand, who on the dawn of victory lay down their weary heads resting, and there resting, died.

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch...
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!
- Rudyard Kipling

Life grows grim without senseless indulgence.
