404WJJefferyWhen does hunting start in Zim?
When in general do people start hunting at the beginning of the season? I believe the grass is pretty thick in January -February-March, isn't it?
Thank you

David Hulme404,
Generally everyone kicks off in March/April, though some may arrange earlier dates, for whatever reasons. The bush is thick in Jan, Feb, March, but is still pretty thick in April/May, depending on the season and area...I think April is the perfect time to get events under way, for a number of reasons including the kudu rut....

David HulmeAfterthought: As far as Roger Whittall Safaris is concerned, the season starts whenever you (the hunter) want it to!

GunsCoreSome PAC elephant hunts can start as early as February.
