MARK H. YOUNGFolks
I'd post pices of my safari rifles but I believe the images would cause mass vomiting after looking at the lovely rifles other folks have shown here.
Rodent chewed platic stocks, teflon finish with shiny worn spots, deep scratches, dented scopes, no fancy open sights and the worst of all duct tape to hold the magazine secure. If that wouldn't make a traditionalist barf I don't know what would. Yikes!!!

Not yet. Unfortunately I am too lazy to translate it.

But I promised to do this and I will do this as soon as I can.

SpringI usually take 3 guns since my son goes with me. Here are two of them. The first pic is of my .470. I didn't take the pic as the guy that did set ups a better pic than I do.
As a change of pace with a shot from the plains, this second pic is of my .300WM (left) and my PH's (right).

And just in case you think I have something against plastic... my .458 Lott.

PeterWell, I for one am NOT impressed with the wood on that AK47 at all. Very poor in my opinion.

Here's one I picked up from a good friend this week. Some of you will recognize this .500 Jeffery. The 2nd photo is to give respect to the guy who made it and used it first.

sactollerAll I can say is WOW!

Here is my Browning Safari .375H&H, it has not drawn African game blood yet. Shooting for 2010!
The other rifle will be my Husqvrana .30-06
This rifle was used by my grandfather (Mom's), given to my father who has passed it onto me. It has to go, it is my go too rifle. No matter what I am hunting for, it goes!

ShowbartJason, I LIKE those Browning's in 375! Why no one makes that exact rifle any more is beyond me. Closest thing to it, and it's a far cry, is a Zastava clone, but by the time you're done, might as well wait and find an old FN Browning. Newer M70's are TOO big.

WyoJoeHere is a picture of El Troubador, my .375 H&H built by Dennis Olson.
His first confirmed kill. It used to be a prairie dog.
