I have seen some outfitters trophy lists containing Hog Deer, are they in good numbers or rare, and does anyone know of trophy quality?

There are a couple about on private farms, but they are by no means common. I have yet to see one that has been hunted locally, hence I cannot comment on trophy quality.

Fallow deer are more common in RSA and trophy quality is not bad.
