cewe,

You are welcome, we gimps got to stick together. Andre' right about the glucosamine. I take it every day.

I don't think of Namibia and waterbuck or black wildebeste. I think you'd find them in RSA.

Again, good luck on the rehab. Ku-dude

Hi,

Ive tried Glucosamine and it did help some but I became a bit (...very) flatulent -and thats to put it nicely. Ill skip Namibia this year and stay with my friends and do whatever hunting I can manage.

Thanks again for the feeback.

First to all you "Whats this got to do..." people I just want to put things straight: The info Im looking for will help me plan my hunt in March. Period.

Story: Ten days ago I had a lateral tibial osteotomy which was needed to realign my knee. It hurts like hell and Im on crutches until the third of Jan. What Id like to know is if anyone has had this type of surgery and how long did it take to recuperate? I cancelled my hunt in Namibia for mountain zebra as that seemed like asking for trouble but a "normal" plainsgame hunt?

Anyone have experience please speak up! Im an MD myself but that doesnt help as none of my patients have had this type of surgery.
