I joined DSC on their online website but I noticed that it is subject to approval. It has been several weeks and wondering how long it takes? Do they do this to filter out Anti Hunters?

The approval is done at the next board meeting after the application is processed, the names of prospective members are presented to the board and the board votes to approve. We approved 58 new members last night.
We have on occasion tabled potential members if there might be a question about an applicant.
We really scrutinize those from anti hunting areas...like Southern California

Nah...just kidding. PM your name and I'll see if it was on the list last night (or just email me at mk_evans@yahoo.com). There were a few approved from California.
